  • Metal Gear Survive Sells an Estimated 103,651 Units First Week at Retail

    The action adventures survival game from publisher and developer Konami - Metal Gear Survive - sold 103,651 units first week at retail, according to our estimates. First week sales can be viewed on the VGChartz Global Weekly Chart for the week ending February 24, 2018.

    Breaking down the sales by platform, the game sold best on the PlayStation 4 with 84,551 units sold (82%), compared to 19,100 units sold on the Xbox One (18%). 


    Breaking down the sales by region, the game sold best in the US with 31,286 units sold (30%), compared to 30,309 units sold in Japan (29%) and 28,578 units in Europe (28%). Looking more closely at Europe, the game sold an estimated 6,173 units in the UK, 4,352 units in Germany, and 4,991 units in France.

    Metal Gear Survive released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC on February 20 in North America, February 21 in Europe and February 22 in Europe.
