The next Assassin’s Creed game is called Assassin’s Creed: Origins, according to sources who spoke with WWGThe game will be unveiled at E3 2017 next month and will release later this year.

The sources stated that the game will feature a a large open world set in ancient Egypt. The story will follow the original assassin's guild and will feature two protagonists, a man and a woman.

The structure of the game will be less linear, as the character progression will not be tied to the story. One of the sources said the scale of the game is larger than any other in the series.

Boats will be in the game that will allow players to sail the Mediterranean. Also included is naval combat.

This should be treated as a rumor until an official announcement is made.
